You love traveling.
You have a passion for adventure, for discovering new, exciting places around the world. Traveling makes you feel free.

You also love street photography. You're passionate about seeing the streets through your heart and your lens. Photography makes you feel alive.

Now imagine waking up every morning feeling FREE and ALIVE, doing the two things you love the most... And getting paid for it!

And the best thing? It's absolutely possible. How do I know?

If I can do it, you can do it too!

My name is Barbara Bernini, and I have been making a living as a full-time street photographer since 2014
. After having spent four years in Shanghai and traveling all over Asia, I moved to Barcelona where I continue living the life I love and doing the work I'm most passionate about. I'm currently working on my third photography monograph, I sell my work to amazing clients around the world, and I lead photography workshops. Photography is my source of joy, it's my life's work, and I am so grateful for the life I have created for myself.

In my workshops and in my daily life, I see so many amazing, talented, heart-centered photographers that struggle. They have a beautiful vision, they make breathtaking photographs, and they so deserve to be seen and rewarded for their work. There's a tiny seed of desire in their heart, a dream they often don't even dare to say aloud: They wish they could become full-time photographers, travel the world, and make a living doing their life's work.

Maybe you're one of those photographers. Maybe turning your photography into a heart-centered, soul-filled business is still just a dream. Maybe it's a path you've already tried once, or a few times, and it never worked out. Maybe you're in the arena right now, and it's just sweat and tears and lots of frustration. And maybe things are going well but you've hit a wall and have no idea how to move forward.

I get you. This path is the most amazing, beautiful, rewarding path you can ever take, but it's not for sissies. It takes passion, determination, lots of courage, lots of willingness to do the work, try, fail, and try again until you overcome an obstacle only to run into the next one.

I know what I'm talking about. I've been walking the same path for years. But if you're willing to go after this beautiful dream of yours, if you're willing to learn and grow and keep working until you get there, I'm here to help.

Why? Because I want you to thrive. I want your art to thrive. I want you to be seen, and I want your work to be loved by the world. I want you to wake up in the morning, excited about the new day, knowing you get to do what you're most passionate about and getting rewarded for it both financially and emotionally. Because if I can do it, you can do it too.

If you feel you're ready to roll up your sleeves, get out of your way and turn this daring dream into the most exquisite reality,
I invite you to join me for my upcoming online workshop:

Turning Pro: Make a living as a street photographer

Intensive, content-packed online workshop
for the committed photographer who is ready
to make a great life and living in photography

In this creative workshop experience, I'm going to guide you through 10 clear steps
that you can start applying right now in order to move closer to your dream of becoming a full-time street photographer, and turn this desire into reality.

  • We will talk about why most people don't succeed in this creative field, and the one thing you need to know to get where you want to be

  • We will discuss the mindset you need to adopt today to become a professional street photographer

  • We will cover portfolio building, marketing, selling… and so much more!

  • Plus, you will have a chance to pick my brain and ask me any question you want

What are you going to learn?
10 Steps you need to have in place
if you want to turn your photography into a joyful,
heart-centered, lucrative creative business:

1. WHY MOST PHOTOGRAPHERS DON’T SUCCEED (and how to make sure you do)

There are many good photographers out there, but actually very few photographers make a living doing this work. In the workshop, I'm going to explain why some photographers thrive, while others struggle. And I'm going to share with you the one thing you need to know if you want to be a full-time photographer who thrives.

Your why is your foundation, and there are several questions you need to ask yourself if you want to create a coherent body of work, if you want to market efficiently, and attract your ideal clients. I'm going to share those questions with you, and we're going to work through them, so you get clarity around your work and your business.

In this step, we're going to discuss what makes a successful portfolio. I'm going to give you a checklist so you can evaluate your current body of work, see what works and what doesn't, and decide what you need to focus on from now on if you want to create a portfolio that sells.

Not everything you make is going to sell, and not everything you make is supposed to be sold. We're going to talk about the importance of working within creative boundaries, not in a restrictive way, but in a healthy, balanced way. This is important if you want to work in a focused manner, without scattered energy, and also if you want to prevent burnout. You want to be a happy, balanced photographer, not a stressed and exhausted one.

Now you have a saleable portfolio, you're clear about your focus, and it's time to show your work. We're going to cover the anatomy of a good website, and the elements you absolutely must have in place so your website is ready for new clients and sales.

E-mail marketing is key. This is where your sales are going to come from, or most of the sales, depending on the business model you choose. I'm going to walk you through creating an e-mail marketing funnel that brings in new clients consistently, so you can relax, do what you're good at, which is photography, and stop stressing about where the next sale is coming from.

The internet can get overwhelming. There are so many options, and we often feel we need to be everywhere, all the time. It's stressful, and it's time consuming. I'm going to show you how to choose the right social media and how to create an online marketing plan that makes your online life clear and so much easier. We're going to cover blogging, podcasting and videos. You will know exactly what to do and when, so your online marketing efforts support your e-mail marketing.

What if you want to do an exhibition of your work. What if you want to be represented by a gallery. What if you have a monograph that you'd like to sell in museum shops. What if there's a gallery you really like and you'd like to sell your work there. We'll cover all this, and I'll give you a checklist of the things you need to have in place and ready before you contact a gallery, a museum, a curator or an art shop.

When it comes to selling, there are important decisions to make. You need to decide what you're going to sell, how you're going to sell it, where, at what price. And with every decision you make, you must be clear about why you want to do it this way. Your business model must make sense to you, and must support your creative vision and your financial needs. I'm going to guide you through the selling process so you can make the right decisions for long-term success.

You know what you're selling, how and where, you're clear about your prices. But who are you going to sell your art to? Forget those boring client avatars and surveys that are taught in boring marketing classes. There is just one thing, one very important thing you need to know about your ideal client, so you attract customers who appreciate your work, and are ready to invest in your art and pay what you ask, without hesitation. And I'm going to tell you exactly what it is, and how to use that information in your marketing efforts.

BONUS! A series of video tutorials on street photography,
that will help you make deeper photographs
by watching me make mine

In the videos, I'm going to share with you the process of making the photograph:

  • The creative choices I made

  • How I worked the scene

  • Which lens I used

  • How I followed the light

  • How I framed and composed the photograph

  • The distance I chose

  • And most importantly, why I made these choices

  • And because I like being completely honest and transparent, I'm also going to share my mistakes, and what I wish I had done differently.

You will walk the city of Barcelona with me, capture the amazing stories of its streets, and you won't even have to get on the plane to hang out with me in Spain (although hanging out with me in person is so much fun).

This is an ongoing video series and an amazing learning opportunity only for the students of my workshop. All you have to do is sign up for this workshop, and the day after the training, you will start receiving the videos.

You're going to receive 1 video training a week, for as long as I continue making them. Which is a lot of content, and a great opportunity to see your own work from a different perspective and go deeper with your photography.

What are you going to get from this workshop?

Together, we will:

2. Discuss your challenges and find a way to remove what's in your way creatively and personally

At the end of our time together, you will:

1. Have a crystal clear vision of where you want to be with your photography, your body of work, and your creative business
